RS PRO SPDT Toggle Switch, Latching, Panel Mount


One of our most straightforward components, the RS PRO SPDT (single pole double throw) toggle switch is used to turn a circuit on and off. It's latching design means that once the toggle is moved from one position to the other, it stays that way. This makes it's suitable for a wide range of applications such as lighting, radio equipment and computing.

It has a minimum insulation resistance of 2000 MΩ at 500 V DC (volts direct current), and a minimum dielectric strength of 500 Vrms (voltage regulator modules) at sea level. The switch has an overall length of 17 mm. There's a contact resistance of 20 mΩ.

As part of our RS PRO range, it's been tested by leading engineers for reliability and durability. The latching switch is gold-and-silver-plated for effective conduction and performance. It's panel-mounted, too, so it's easy to install onto your wall or desired surface.
