Its ingress protection (IP) rating of 67 means it can withstand temporary immersion in water and it's unaffected by oil, dirt or surface finish. The sensor detects metal within a range of 0.8 mm. It can be used at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
