The Pepperl + Fuchs Ultrasonic Sensor features an IO-Link interface for parameterization and is programmable via DTM with PACTWARE. It has a sensing range of 60 to 800 mm and an adjustment range of 70 to 800 mm, with a dead band from 0 to 60 mm. The sensor uses a standard target plate measuring 100 mm by 100 mm. The transducer frequency is approximately 255 kHz. It offers a minimum response delay of 13 ms, with a factory setting of 49 ms. The sensor cycle time is at least 13 ms by default and can be programmed up to 60 seconds. The sensor includes non-volatile EEPROM memory for data retention.
