Fluke Energy Monitor & Logger, 500V Maximum Measurement, 16bit Resolution - FLUKE-1734/INTL

This energy monitor & logger is a portable three-phase instrument for capturing voltage, current, power and energy metrics across industrial electrical systems. It records detailed power quality and consumption data, supports remote viewing via Bluetooth and WiFi, and is intended for field use where logging, analysis and safe measurement at the service entrance or downstream circuits are required.

Features & Benefits

• 16-bit resolution sampling for high-fidelity waveform capture
• Voltage range to 500V for broad mains coverage
• Accuracy ±(0.2%+0.01%) for precise energy calculations
• CAT IV 600V/CAT III 1000V safety rating for service‑entrance use
• Li‑Ion battery operation enables portable, battery-powered monitoring
• USB mini-port and USB-A flash support for easy data transfer

**Applications**

• Suitable for conducting NEC-style load studies on distribution panels
• Ideal for comparing utility meter kWh against main feeder readings
• Used for power and energy logging to quantify savings measures
• Can be used with wireless modules to log auxiliary analogue signals
• Used for simplified current-only surveys where voltage connection is impractical

How long will it operate on battery between charges?

The internal Li‑Ion cell provides up to 5.5 h in power-saving mode and around 4 h in standard mode with a charge time under 6 h.

Which measurement types can be logged simultaneously?

It logs rms voltage, rms current, THD for voltage and current, active/reactive/apparent power, power factor and energy concurrently.

What interfaces enable remote access and control?

Remote functions use WiFi for file transfer and control, Bluetooth for auxiliary module readings, and a USB-mini port for PC downloads.

What environmental limits affect operation?

The instrument operates between -10°C and +50°C with specified humidity derating and an IP50 enclosure rating.

How does it handle flexible current probes and scaling?

The unit auto-detects attached flexible probes, applies appropriate scaling for ranges to 1500 A (thin probe) or higher probe options, and supports Rogowski and clamp inputs.

Note

CRITICAL SAFETY ALERT - PLEASE READ!
