Single Plug and Socket
Suitable for 12 to 24V d.c. car, boat and caravan electrical systems, these universal plugs and sockets provide quality connections for any number of uses to power portable equipment. Plugs are 8A or 16A rated and fit DIN ISO 4165 socket outlets. The red adaptor allows the plug to fit car cigar lighter sockets.

What is a cigarette lighter socket?
Cigarette lighter sockets are found in cars or other vehicles and they have two main purposes. Some feature a heating element which is used as a lighter for cigarettes. Note
Similar in concept to an automotive cigar lighter, the DIN 4165 connector is shorter and smaller than the Standard Cigarette Lighter Socket normally found in cars.
