Keypad locks are locks that use a numeric code rather than a key or digital fob to grant entry to the building or property. The code for the lock is normally a four-digit or six-digit code and must be entered in the correct order. Codes are programmed and re-programmed by the user with 10,000+ numeric codes available. Once the correct code is entered into the keypad lock, the doors lock or deadbolt is released, once the latch has been opened, the keypad resets ready to hold the lock in its closed position when it has returned.
