The Microchip Touchscreen Sensor IC connects to an Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) glass touchscreen via a flexible printed circuit (FPC) for accurate touch detection. A copper flex panel is included to simulate display loading effects during testing. The kit also provides self-adhesive feet for bench or desktop use. Alternatively, the touchscreen assembly can be mounted to a compatible display for evaluating on-screen performance.
