This demonstration tool is designed to provide an easy way to evaluate the robustness of ESD diodes developed for the automotive environment. It is based on a master-slave structure on the same board using two STM8AF528. The microcontrollers communicate with each other via a communication loop based on LIN/CAN protocol. Communication flow status is indicated by four onboard LEDs. The LIN and CAN bus interfaces use four transceivers and are supplied by the step-up converter.
