The Microchip Technology high power boost LED driver is a constant-current boost LED driver which is capable of driving a series switching controller specifically designed to power a string of high-power LEDs. It can be used in general lighting, bulb replacement, garden pathway lighting and other solid state application. The LED driver is very robust and it is a peak current mode control PWM boost regulator.
