Harting contact inserts have a wide range of uses. Inserts are selected according to the desired number of poles and voltage and current ratings.

Poles: 3-16 (screw connection)

Two 16P + E inserts may be accommodated within a ’Size’ 32A housing (typical stock no 363-7964)

These connectors should not be mated or unmated under electrical load. Connectors of the same or different types arranged in a line should be polarised to prevent the possibility of wrong connection.

Han A® 10A to 16A Screw Series

These Han A® inserts are available in 10A and 16A current ratings. They are intended for use typically with hoods and housing; RS stock Nos. 114-8024, 181-0662 and 181-0690 and the associated ranges. These hoods and housings are associated to a specific Harting 'Size' number.
