RS PRO Heating Element, 40 mm, 50 W, 220 V AC


This tube-shaped heating element from RS PRO is suitable for heating different types of metal plates and components in a wide variety of industrial settings, including packaging applications and printing.

The cartridge heater has a 10-inch, fibreglass-insulated lead wire that's able to tolerate temperatures as high as +450°C. A ceramic cap attached to the end of the flexible lead is designed with deep holes to stop the lead from fraying when it gets bent. There's also a TIG-welded end disc to prevent contamination and moisture absorption.

The heater has been cleverly designed so it can slide into holes drilled using either metric or imperial drill sizes. Note that the heating element needs to fit tightly, without gaps, in order to work. This element has a diameter of 6.5 mm.

This cartridge heater has been rigorously tested to ensure it meets RS PRO's high standards of quality and safety.
