RS PRO Heating Element, 125 mm, 400 W, 220 V AC


Use this cartridge heater from RS PRO for a wide range of high-temperature immersion heating applications. It's small enough to be passed easily through a tank wall for direct heating in compact spaces.

The unit's wires are insulated with fibreglass that can sustain temperatures of up to +450°C. Its robust ceramic cap protects the heating element from vibrations and impacts. The cap has deep holes to prevent the wires from fraying when bent for a long and efficient operating lifetime. The nickel-chromium resistance wire is corrosion-resistant, so it won't rust in harsh environments.

Components such as this one are typically used in warehouses, workshops and other industrial settings. We recommend that you use this heater with a temperature sensor and control system in order to prevent excess heating.
