RS PRO Ceramic Heating Element, 245 mm, 1 kW, 230 V AC
Use this curved ceramic heating element from RS PRO to cure plastic welding and coats of paint. Operating safely up to a maximum temperature of +700°C, this versatile heating element is well-suited in difficult industrial environments.
The heater's embedded wire makes long-wave infrared heat in parallel rays. To improve energy efficiency, the concave shape focuses heat into the desired shot and converts up to 96% of the input power to heat. With between 5,000 to 10,000 working hours, it's durable and is also corrosion-resistant thanks to its glazed ceramic build. The unit has a supply voltage of 230 V AC and is able to deal with power up to 1 kW.
As part of the RS PRO range, this heater has been stringently tested for reliability. You'll find it in use in manufacturing environments.
