The ISSI Serial Flash memory offers a flexible and high-performance storage solution in a simplified low pin count package. ISSI’s Industry Standard Serial Interface Flash is Ideal for systems requiring limited space, low pin count, and low power consumption. It operates through a 4-wire SPI Interface with Serial Data Input SI, Serial Data Output SO, Serial Clock SCK, and Chip Enable CE pins, configurable for multi-I/O functionality. The device supports standard, Dual Output, Quad Output SPI, and Dual and Quad I/O modes. With clock frequencies up to 133MHz, it achieves an effective rate of 532MHz and data throughput of 66Mbytes per second. The IS25xP series also features Double Transfer Rate DTR commands for address and data transfers on both clock edges, offering performance that can exceed 16-bit Parallel Flash memories and enabling efficient XIP execute in place operation.
