The Kvaser adapter cable comes with a D SUB 9 socket connector at one end and an OBD II (J1962) Type B connector for 24V operation at the other. The OBD II connector provides access to the on board diagnostic port, typically located below the steering wheel in cars, and is also used in some trucks and buses. This halogen free, flame retardant CAN bus cable is designed to connect a Kvaser CAN interface or data logger for collecting CAN/OBD II data.
