Adaptaflex PVC Coated Flexible Steel Conduit, 21.5mm OD, 25m Length - SP Series - 7TCA296020R0138 SP20/BL/25M

Run wire bundles between two terminals with this cable conduit from Adaptaflex. It's suitable for both industrial and commercial use and makes routing cables easier while also providing protection to sensitive wiring. The robust tube is made from galvanised steel with superior resistance to impact. It also withstands corrosion, so is safe to use in humid conditions. For safety, its PVC coating offers electrical insulation to minimise the risk of shock when installing your wiring system. This cable conduit is flexible, so it's easier to use in constricted areas.

Features & Benefits

• Length of 25m, so suitable for longer cable runs

• Wide operating temperature range of -15°C to +70°C for compatibility with harsh environments

• UV-resistant for an extended service life when exposed to sunlight

• Low flammability for safety in the event of a fire

Applications

• Offices and retail building

• Residential areas

• Industrial control centres

Where is cable conduit installed?

Cable conduit is usually installed in elevated or hidden areas, like underground or through the walls and roof of a building. Occasionally, it's used across floors to help prevent tripping or snagging hazards.

Standard & Low Fire Hazard Conduit

Two types of flexible liquid resistant conduits from Adaptaflex, the standard version is a helically wound galvanised steel strip with a black PVC cover whilst the LFH (Low Fire Hazard) type is Polyolefin covered which has halogen free, flame retardant & low toxicity properties which complement Fire Performance cables where public safety is of concern e.g. Hospitals, Shopping centres, Underground Railways etc.

IP54 or IP65 (dependant on Fitting)

-15°C to +70°C operating temperature, -25°C to +90°C (LFH type)

Non Flame propagating to EN50086

UV resistant

Compression strength 1500N/50mm

Halogen Free (LFH type only)

Low Smoke and Fume (LFH type only)

Note

The conduit is measured under tension and may be subject to variations in length when relaxed.
