Eaton 20A Ceramic Cartridge Fuse, 10 x 38mm

Cooper Bussmann IEC cylindrical class gG-gL and aM fuses are intended for industrial applications. Some industrial fuse links are available with an operated visible fuse indicator. Sizes 14 x 51, 22 x 58 in both class gG-gL and aM are also available with a built-in striker for micro-switch operation and remote indication.

Use this Eaton fuse in high-voltage and high-load circuits, typically found in commercial and industrial settings. This reliable 20A-rated device will protect electrical equipment and circuitry from the hazardous effects of overcurrent or short circuits caused by lightning strikes, faulty equipment or improper wiring. It acts fast to shut off electrical flow by blowing or melting in a fault scenario where higher current presents than its breaking capacity. This prevents the damaging effects of overheating – such as cable melt, fire and explosions.

• gG (general purpose) class fuse means it typically blows within 2 to 5 seconds at five times the rated current, for a range of uses
• Visible indicator available to easily identify when the internal fuse link has blown
• Measures 10mm in diameter by 38mm in length, making it compatible with universal size fuse holders

The breaking capacity of a ceramic cartridge fuse is higher than that of other fuses, which means that ceramic fuses can be used in circuits with higher current rating.
