Pneumatic pressure decay sensors, also known as pneumatic threshold sensors, are devices used to detect when the pressure in this line is exhausted and the cylinder is at end of stroke. The sensor will then provide a pneumatic or electric output signal for this when there is pressure loss. Pneumatic pressure decay sensors are usually installed on the cylinder or the control valve within a pneumatic system. They enable you to control the operation of the cylinder.
The sensors feature a threaded inlet port, for example G 1/8 and an outlet tube. It is important consider both the operating temperature for the sensor and the breaking pressure.
