The STMicroelectronics evaluation kit implements a PLC solution with hardware designed for functional safety standards IEC61508, EN62061, ENISO13849-1, and ENISO13849-2, enabling SIL3 factory automation reference designs. It includes a mother board (STEVAL-SILKTA01) with STM32H743ZG and two daughter boards (STEVAL-SILKTB01) with STM32G431RB. The main board offers three connectivity interfaces: RS485, CAN, and Ethernet/IP. The kit includes the STSW-SILKT01 firmware package based on STM32Cube architecture, featuring application, drivers (BSP/CMSIS/HAL), and middleware layers.
