The Microchip External CAN FD Controller with SPI Interface provides efficient communication with a serial peripheral interface (SPI). It supports an arbitration bit rate of up to 1 Mbps and a data bit rate of up to 8 Mbps. The controller offers flexible modes, including a mixed CAN 2.0B and CAN FD mode, as well as a dedicated CAN 2.0B mode. It fully conforms to the ISO 11898 1:2015 standard, ensuring compatibility and reliability in automotive and industrial applications.
