The Phoenix Contact isolation amplifier is designed to operate Ex i proximity sensors and switches in the Ex area. It features a passive transistor output, which is resistive in accordance with EN 60947-5-6. The device provides line fault transparency, ensuring reliable signal transmission. Additionally, it is certified up to SIL 2 in accordance with IEC 61508, ensuring a high level of safety for use in hazardous environments.
