RS PRO Crocodile Clips
Need to create a temporary electrical connection for test purposes? These insulated crocodile clips from RS PRO are suitable for use with Fluke 10/70/80 series multimeter test prods. They can be used with the 21, 23, 27, 73, 75, 77, 85 and 87 models.
The clips are voltage-rated at 1000 V for Cat II, which covers single-phase receptacle loads such as portable tools, household appliances and long branch circuits. For Cat III, covering three-phase distribution such as mains bus and feeders in industrial plants and lighting systems in large buildings, they're rated at 600 V. They're amp-rated at 20 A. The serrated jaws can be easily affixed to the contact point using the sprung clip and released just as easily.
The clips meet US (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, meaning they won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. Crocodile clips are commonly used for troubleshooting electrical circuits.
