RL78/I1A Group microcontrollers by Renesas has the RL78 core with a high processing performance while delivering the lowest power consumption in their class which includes LED control, power supply control and communication functions on a single chip.
In addition to a high-precision (±1%) on-chip oscillator enabling 24MHz CPU operation and other standard on-chip functions from the RL78/G13, 64MHz timer operation and a dithering function makes PWM output of a minimum of 0.98ns resolution possible, enabling fine-grained dimming and colour toning control.
