Product Details
Keysight Technologies 34908A 40 Channel Multiplexer
The 34908A 40 channel single ended multiplexer features the greatest density in common low applications, for example component characterisation and benchtop testing. All two wire internal measurements except current are supported, whilst the module low connection is also isolated from earth allowing it to float up to 300V. This module switches 40 one wire inputs and features a built-in thermocouple reference junction.
Applications include use with the 34970A (810-5027) and 34972A (702-7958) Data Acquisition/Switch unit.

Keysight USB Data Acquisition (DAQ)
The Keysight USB Data Acquisition (DAQ) family offers the choice and flexibility to create standalone or modular solutions that expand and evolve according to test requirements.
What is a Multiplexer Module?
Also known as a mux or data selector, a multiplexer device is used to forward multiple digital and analog input signals in to one single output. in forwarding multiple signals in to one output, a multiplexer allows several signals to share one device. Demultiplexers or demux operate in reverse, they are often used for cost reduction in conjunction with one another, often within communication and data links.
Note
Thermocouples must be electrically isolated from each other to avoid current loops and subsequent measurement errors.
