RS Expands its RS Brand Range with High Quality Passive Products
New products bring cost effective solutions for aluminium, axial, radial and snap-in type capacitors

RS Components has significantly extended its portfolio of high quality, value priced RS brand passive components with the addition of hundreds of new SMD resistors, carbon film resistors and aluminium capacitors. The company plans to greatly expand its RS brand offering in the coming months, providing customers with the opportunity to cut costs without compromising performance.
More than 750 new aluminium axial, radial and snap-in type capacitors have been added to the RS brand presenting purchasers and design engineers with a cost effective alternative without compromising on quality. The RS devices offer capacitance values from 4.7µF up to 220µF with rated voltages ranging from 6.3Vdc to 63Vdc. RS is also introducing 480 new thick film SMD chip resistors in types 0402, 0603, 0805 and 1206, offering resistance values from 10Ω.
The introduction of these latest RS brand products is the next step in the company’s plans to develop its value priced range according to Chris Page, Electronics General Manager, for RS, “The new RS brand products provide our customers with a cost effective alternative to manufacturer brands with the high quality assurance for which RS is renowned. Our range expansion over the coming months will reinforce this message.”
