Hazard Tapes

Hazard warning tape is an effective and quick way of highlighting a potential danger and cordoning off potential hazards.

Colours
The colour of the tape quickly enables an individual to identify the level of risk to them. Generally speaking there is a two tone pattern of alternating stripes sometimes with wording such as ’Caution’ or ’Danger’ written in prominent letters.

  • Red/ White - fire prevention and protection equipment
  • Black/ Yellow - physical hazards
  • Orange/ White - traffic and caution warning
  • Black/ White - housekeeping and aisle marking
  • Pink/ Yellow - radiation hazards
  • Blue/ White - defective machinery
  • Green/ White - safety and first aid equipment

Types
There are different types of tape, with a range of different backing materials, lengths, widths, and thicknesses as well as a variety of other unique selling points depending upon your individual requirements.
